Prema informacijama sa službene stranice, Cyclos Semiconductor je predstavio prvu komercijalnu masovnu primjenu svoje patentirane Resonant Clock Mesh tehnologije. Ovaj patent ili tehnologija je prvenstveno namjenjena, za uštedu energije i manje zagrijavanje procesora a moguče su uštede čak do 30%. Uglavnom zanimljiva tehnologija to sigurno, ko razumije engleski ispod je PDF sa detaljima oko tog svega testovi malo opširnije o čemu se tu zapravo radi itd.
Prvi procesor ili jezgra koji ima ugrađenu ovu tehnologiju, u svoju arhitekturu je AMD Piledriver jezgra ili Trinity APU serija i ostali AMD procesori rađeni oko takve jezgre.

AMD’s 4+ GHz x86-64 core code-named “Piledriver” is the first high-volume processor core to deploy the Cyclos RCM technology to reduce clock power while maintaining an ultra-low clock-skew target. The Cyclos resonant clock mesh relies on fully-integrated inductors to reduce average power consumption by 5% to 10% and improve peak-power-constrained performance with minimal area impact."
