F1 2010 has gained pole position after a near perfect lap around Official PlayStation Magazine's test track.
The beautiful Formula 1 sim from Codies is awarded 9 out of 10 from CVG sister mag OPM UK in its latest issue.
The team at OPM fell in love with F1 2010 simply because of the way it makes them feel:
"It's a game where first place is for a long time out of each, and where qualifying eighth on the grid is sometimes considered a good result."
"Every successful overtake is a victory and every place lost is a crushing blow."
The review also flags up the rain effects, obviously, noticing how good a torrential downpour looks and how much of an effect it has on the race.

Ovo bi bilo zanimljivo vidjeti, isto tako i njegov sud o dozi realnosti koju igra nudi. Naravno pod uvjetom da odigra bez ikakvih pomagala i sličnog.

Joj ako je to review onda sam ja C Norris. Mislim da je ocito sto se dogodilo- dobili su igru pod uvjetom da sve bude veselo i krasno opisano.

Možda,treba pričekat ostale review-e.Ipak ne mogu sve "potplatit" da kažu da je njihova igra super(iako već su mnogi hvalili igru u previewima) .....

We're just back in the office , and with a decent steering wheel we've been immersed in the new title of codemasters!
We can't deliver definitive comments about the game due the limited time , but a few laps on the various cars was sufficent to being impressed in front of this new codemasters work.
Away from the noise of the gamescom crowd , we tried with calm the title.
We've started the game , and soon with Press conference , we answered the questions of the media and we started the game as a Medium Experienced driver who starts his career in a medium team , but in not the weakest.(hrt , lotus , virgin)
After that , we've inserited in the Catalunya paddok , the first standard menu of the game.
The paddok location will change in the career , when we start the various race weekends in different locations.
Started the race , we've get immersed in the atmosphere of the f1 in the garage.
The ingeneers were around us working on our car.
Interacting with the monitor in front of us , we can access various informations like weather , many setup options or ask the engineer to load a predefinied setup.
Finally when we get satisfied , we are ready to get in the track , the car left the garage automatically and we are on the grid.
The difficult level is medium , so with some aids actived.

The difficult level is medium , so with some aids actived.
We're good sim drivers , but at this level of difficulty the car is a hard beast to dominate! If we accellerate too early , the spin is garanteed.
The car reacts very very well to the steering wheel inputs!
The ai too was challenging in the medium difficulty , but after some training we manage to step on the podium.
Then we've turned all aids off and the difficulty drastically increased!
The car is even more twitchy and nervous but it's not frustrating to drive.
Codemasters managed to give us a great handling , realistic but not too much difficult and frustrating.
f1 2010 is not as severe as some other racing simulators , but the sim racers at the max difficulty will have some troubles to drive fast!
The are mechanical damages and external damages , tyres and engine management and numerous other variables that will appear on the HUD!
Another great aspect of the game is the Collision and damage system.
despite we haven't the final version of the game yet , we've admired a very detailed and realistic damage model , even more realistic than other codemasters titles
many external parts of the car can get damaged or desrtroyed , the car can get airbone and rollover in very realistic ways!
The weather simulation is incredibly realistic!
we can start a race under the sun and finish it in the thunder!
The handling will drastically change between dry or wet conditions , but codemasters has done more , the road condition will change during the race like sbk x.
The graphic don't give us doubts about the final quality of the game.
The ego engine can handle very well all 24 cars but in some circuits the detail isn't impressive like other codemasters titles.
The car models and the track reproduction anyway is very good.
We've been impressed by the small details of this game , in the race we can see debris fly away when the car pass over them , birds on the air and leaves flies away form the trees.
the framerate is great , except for monaco where even the more powerful pc's will have difficulties to have max frames.
anyway The sense of speed is fantastic!
The sound is real life like , very detailed and immersive!
f1 2010 is near to his debut in the shops , on the 24 th of semptebmer the f1 fans will have the game of their dreams , a challenging a solid title.
The wait is almost over , soon we will have the Review and the final score!

Ak bude to će valjda biti za grid djevojke.
Potvrđeno je da na PC-u ipak neće biti lock na 30FPS-a,kao na konzolama.
A ipak se može kad se hoće
Evo sad se moze napravit pre-order i na steamu
A sad gledam tu i vidim pod system requirements ispod na kraju pise: Other Requirements: Online play requires log-in to Games For Windows - Live. Click here for a list of countries/regions with service. Hocemo mi moci igrat online ili ne?
Steam je baš ono skup kad nisu akcije. MW2 je još 60E, a neki ga prodaju novog za 150KN....
Na game.co.uk je preodrer 25funti, što je (ako sam dobro izračunao?) = 218KN bez troškova dostave.
Na dvd.co.uk je 31E, što je oko 250KN, dakle nešto skuplje. No i dalje osjetno jeftinije od Steama.
Steam je uvijek dosta skuplji, al je zato praktičniji. Ipak, više kupim retaila. Nije baš da se ima love. :)

Ne igram ja često vožnje, ali kad igram igram se na Formula Force EX.
Kupio sam kada je HG spot bio u banani i kada su sve davali za valjda 70% cijene. Platio sam ga 299 kn. :) Odnosno kupio mi ga DadoZG, 2 smo odma uboli. Sad su oko 530 kn. :)
Fino smo pogodili trenutak.
Momo se tada prodavao za 350, al su ih sve rasprodali, prvo smo njih tražili.
Pa naravno da će f1 sličit više gridu i dirtu nego gtu, jako mali broj ljudi voli hardcore simulacije, dok su ovi naslovi taman između simulacije i arkade.
Ocjene zasada izgledaju odlično.
