Q. What is a vehicle skin / pattern?
A. These items are new historically accurate camouflage patterns for use on vehicles of a certain class in the multiplayer game mode. These patterns offer a purely cosmetic upgrade and do not give a gameplay advantage.
Q. Why is there a distinction between heavy and medium weight vehicles?
A. In Company of Heroes 2 tanks are divided into three classes based on their weight and power, light, medium and heavy. Patterns apply to a specific type of tank e.g. the T34 is an example of a medium skin. Applying a skin to the medium class means all vehicles in that class will feature that skin when built by the user.
Q. What is the Steam Pre-Purchase Tiered Rewards Program?
A. This is a Steam and THQ run program of rewards for those who pre-order. Each tier requires a certain number of pre-orders to unlock the associated reward. The more pre-orders received, the more rewards everyone in the group earns. All codes will be distributed through STEAM and regardless of when you purchase all earned rewards will be available to you. All rewards are incremental to the guaranteed pre-order and Digital Collector’s Edition bonus content.
Q: When will I get access to beta and how will I receive my code?

The Digital Collector’s Edition includes everything in the standard SKU of the game along with two exclusive heavy vehicle skins (one Soviet one German), a Veteran Badge for the player’s profile, a Command Pass and a token entitling the player to download the first three single player DLC packs for free. Additionally, the Digital Collector’ Edition includes the original Company of Heroes and both expansions valued at around $50 on Steam.

A. Yes, this edition is a great deal. Not only will you receive the main game, but you also get over $75 of additional bonus content for a $99 price-point.
Q. What is the Veteran’s Badge included in the Digital Collector’s Edition? Will I be able to buy it?
A. This is an exclusive badge for the player’s in-game profile identifying them as a Collector’s Edition owner. It will not be available any other way.
Q. I read on a retailer’s website that the Digital Collector’s Edition includes the first three Theatre of War packs. What are these?
A. Theatre of War is the name we have given to our single player DLC content packs.
Q. Will vehicle skins / patterns give a gameplay advantage?
A. These are purely cosmetic upgrades and will give no gameplay advantage to the player.
Q. Will I be able to use a Soviet skin on another faction’s vehicles?
A. No. All patterns are historically accurate and designed specifically for a certain class of vehicle so they are not transferable. They also wouldn’t look as good on vehicles they weren’t designed for.
Q. Will the Collector’s Edition patterns ever be available for sale?
A. No. These items are true exclusives and will remain as a bonus for purchasers of that SKU only.
Q. Is the Digital Collector’s Edition limited to a certain number?
A. While there is no limit on number of the Digital Collector’s Editions available this SKU will not be sold at any retail stores.
