0.7.2 Public test announcement  

Commanders!


The World of Tanks development team gives you the opportunity to participate in the 7.2 mass test. The update will be released in the near future. At this occasion, we would like to ask for your feedback during this process.

In the meantime, the special World of Tanks 7.2 update will only be available on our test servers. The estimated end date of the 7.2 test is March 13th, 2012. Please note that only those players who registered prior to March 2, 2012 before 20:00 CET (9:00pm GMT) would be able to login to the test server.

To participate in the test you need to follow the steps below:

1. Download the test game client in a separate directory:

2. Run the game.

Important! Please, install the test game client version in the folder, other than the current game client version! Also remeber to switch off the game client before installing the update. Only players who registered prior to March 2, 2012 can access the public test server.

Please, have a look at the certain special features of the public test server:

Payments are not accepted on the public test server.
Credit and experience rates for public test server are multiplied by 10. All players are given 15k gold for testing purposes.
Progress will not be transferred to the main server.
Important:

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the test server is subject to EULA and general rules of World of Tanks game server. The restrictions and punishments are the same as on the official game server of World of Tanks. The details of the v.7.2 public test can be discussed in a special forum thread. The discussion of failures and bugs of the 7.2 test is carried out in special sub-forums only.

American tank Т34 becomes a premium tank and is removed from the American tech tree. M103 replaces T34 as a tier 9 American heavy tank.

Game mechanics

Reworked algorithm of balancing tanks in teams in random battles. Implemented break of long series (more than 3 battles) of getting into battles with maximal tier for a tank.
Profitability, cost in credits, cost of upgrading, cost of repair, cost of modules and cost of modules upgrading are revised for most tanks.
Spaced armor reduced shell damage according to their thickness and position (in 7.1 they just moved the shell explosion point farther and did not reduce damage).
Armor absorption (blocking) of shell damage reduced by 20%.
All crew skills, trained prior to 7.2, and all experience spent on the training is given to crew members as “free”. You can use free experience to learn both old and new skills.
Added opportunity of “skill reset” available for gold (100% experience saved), credits (90% experience saved) and for free (80% experience saved).
Parameters of all vehicles are renormed (reduced) to fit 100% crew, without notice of attributes accelerating crew skills (Commander skills, consumables, and etc.). Actual in-game parameters of tanks remain the same.
Changed format of replay recording. Replays from version 7.1 update won’t be reproduced in version 7.2.
Rebalanced parameters of French vehicles, introduced with 7.1.
Front armor of the top turret for the Т-50-2 reduced from 60 to 45 mm.
Operating range of FuG37 radio changed to 290 m (was 360 m).
Equipment module of KV-220 “Heavy gun ramming device” is changed to “Medium gun ramming device”.
Implemented mechanism of configuring the gun elevation angle for the front and back (deployed) turret position.

AMX 12t: from 4 to 12 angle degrees upgrade.

Reworked some effect of hitting the ground with a shell.
Improved effects of fire on the vehicles.

Added different levels of graphics, based on the distance, for some special effects.

Interface

Added platoon markers and clan tags to “wide” team view mode.
In-battle team list background is made more transparent.
Team list width in “wide” view mode matches the longest nickname on the list (team list width used to remain maximal).
Added animation to changing from “wide” to “narrow” team lists appearing at a battle start.
Added new display of teams in battle list: [Frags scored] [Vehicle name] [Tank icon].
When you press “TAB”, a “wide” team view mode is displayed instead of a team list table.

7.2 Preview: Game Economy Changes

 

As we all know, version 0.7.2 will be the next big update of World of tanks. In this update the game's economics will receive a lot of changes, these are targeted to optimize the income of all vehicles and to set optimal prices on their modules.  This means that the improved economics will ensure a more comfortable process of researching and purchasing of vehicles.

Vehicle Progression

In the current version of World of tanks, after a player finishes researching a new vehicle they will usually have to play a large number of battles just to grind enough credits to be able to afford purchasing it.  Though during the progression through the Tank Tree, players will improve their skill at the game and as result are able to earn more credits in damage and kills, the old economic system requires a lot of effort and time to progress on Low and Mid Tiers. We want to change this!

Moreover, low income in low levels forces players to choose between saving credits for a new vehicle or purchasing consumables and equipment.

Considering all the above mentioned, we’re planning to increase income on the low Tiers.  This will give players the possibility to earn more credits and XP.  As a result of these changes, players will have the opportunity to purchase new tanks much faster and sooner after the research.

Meanwhile, higher tier tanks will see faster experience progression compared to credit income on a battle-by-battle basis. We feel these particular changes will greatly improve the rate at which players reach the middle tiers of the game, while also improving the play experience once they reach that point.

Out of Stock

Going along with the progression changes are modifications to the progression through a vehicle itself. We are revamping the experience and credit costs of many modules.

Module cost Should be appropriately based on its effectiveness in battle, Currently it doesn't  work like that. In some cases, modules are performing too well for their experience and credit costs. In those cases we will be boosting their credit costs, But there are also a lot of modules which are currently too expensive and in 7.2 will have their experience and credit costs reduced.

For example, the 105 mm T5E1 – available to the T29 and T32 – will have its credit and experience costs reduced. This is the case for many tank upgrades throughout all tiers, with the goal being a more enjoyable journey to the next vehicle tier.

Tank Destroyers

Tank destroyers have progressed a bit slower than most vehicles in the game to this point due to a higher credit and experience costs for their guns than other same-tier vehicles. In version 7.2 we will be removing this disparity, resulting in similar costs to their counterparts.

Income Adjustments

Part of the economy rebalancing also includes adjustments to the income potential for most vehicles in the game. We’ll break this down for each specific adjustment below.

Early Tiers

In the early game – tiers one through four – all vehicles, regardless of type, will see an increase in credit income. This includes most premium vehicles in that tier range.

Light Tanks

Along with the implementation of  the economic improvement, income of all Light Tanks will be increased. For Tier one it will be an increase from 82% to 95%. Tier 2-5 Scouts will receive an increase within the frame from 14% to 58%. While AMX 13 75 and AMX 13 90 will see a 10% increase.

Medium Tank

The changes to Medium tanks will see a reduction in credit income for tiers six (reduced on 8 %), seven and eight (from 10% to 5% ). Meanwhile Tier 2-4 will receive an increase from 10% to 40% depending on the vehicle. Tier 5 vehicles will in some cases see a bonus of up to 7%, while others are nerfed, but not by more than 12%. A purely good change awaits owners of top Tier vehicles – Tier 9 will receive an increase from 5% to 11%. This will allow to maintain such beasts as ‘M46 Patton’, ‘T-54’ or ‘E-50’ much easier.

Heavy Tanks

We’re rebalancing the income of heavies quite abit. On Tier 5 it will be increased from 6% to 18%, while Tier 6 will lose some credits – their credit earnings will be reduced 5%-8%.  For tiers seven and eight we will both reduce up to 5% or increase up to 5% the income potential of heavy tanks depending on the particular vehicle.  Pleasant news for Top Tier drivers – their vehicles will receive a boost in the range from 5% to 10%

Self-propelled Guns

Many self-propelled guns will see a boost in credit income, including tier eight. On Tiers 2-3 it will be an increase in the diapason from 40% to 60%, on Tier 4-5 it will a 4%-14% bonus, while Tier 8 will receive a boost in the range from 7% to 13%. The only cases where credit income will remain the same are tiers six and seven.

Tank Destroyers

Due to the rebalancing of tank destroyer progression, we will be reducing the income of all tank destroyers by somewhere between 3% - 8%, depending on the vehicle. This of course excludes tiers two through four, which will see credit income increases.

Please note that profitability of premium vehicles of tier 5 and above will not change.

Nakon ovog patcha neki danšnji mm-ovi više neće biti mm-ovi a   neki drugi tenkovi će zarađivati kao bijesni...hmm...ima puno mjesta za mnipulacije...

Koliko sam na brzinu pogledao dodali su da do tiera 5 imas jos bolju zaradu

i tu da ostanes i budes topovsko meso.

do sada se sa t6 nesto moglo zaraditi sa t7 drzati se na povrsini tj u prosjeku biti na 0

(toga vise nece biti) na t8 se obicno islo u lagani minus (sad ce on biti veci) a sa T8 i 9 se naravno

islo u veliki minus koje je nesto umanjen (ali i dalje ste u minusu)

Zakljucak: bez premuiuma sluzis kao topovsko meso sa T5 i za to ces biti placen

sto je i do sad bilo ali pohlepa ide dalje sve dok ide

Dupli (spaced) oklop smanjuje oštećenje granate u skaldu sa debljinom i pozicijom (u 7,1 su samo pomerali mesto eksplozije i nisu umanjivali štetu). Apsopcija oklopa(blokiranje) štete granate smanjena za 20%. Sve veštine posade izučene pre 7,2 i svo iskustvo posade se vraća kao “free”. Možete koristiti ovo iskustvo za izučavanje novih veština. Dodata mogućnost resetovanja veštine: za zlato (100% iskustva sačuvano), kredite (90% ikustva sačuvano) i besplatno (80% iskustva sačuvano). Parametri vozila izmenjeni zbog uklapanja 100% posade, bez obaveštenja atributa ubrzanih veština posade (veštine komandira, potrošna oprema itd) Stvarni prametri uigri ostaju isti. Opravka jednog modula ili lečenje jednog člana posade je sada dostupno sa jednim klikom bez potrebe za selektovanjem modula ili člana posade. Udaljenost do markera topa je uvek prikazana za haubice . Promenjena boja zastava na bazama. Sada je igračeva zastava uvek zelena a protivnička plava. Dodat tajmer na slanje brzih poruka sa F4 (prati me) i F7 (pomoć) ako se koriste prekomerno. Dodat displej informacija ako neprijatelj ubije člana svog tima za ‘Fog of War’ u clan wars-u; “Ne-uklonjiva” oprema preimenovana u “Kompleksna”. Grafika: Prerađeni efekti pogotka zemlje granatom; Poboljšani efekti požara na vozilu; Poboljšan efekat ‘talasanja’ kada se vozilo kreće kroz vodu; Prerađen specijalni efekat granate koja pogađa sneg i pesak; Dodati različiti nivoi grafike, prema daljini, za specijalne efekte; Dodate ptice na neke stare mape; Interfejs: Dodat platun marker i klan tag za “širi” pregled tima. Lista igrača u borbi je više providna. Širina liste tima u “širem” pregledu je ista kao najduže ime u listi (do sada je lista ostajala maksimalne širine). Promenjen format poruka o rezultatima borbe tokom specijala (na primer, nakon pobede u borbi i dobijanja x5 iskustva); Ispravke: Ispravljen netačan prikaz parametara oklopa za ISU-152 Ispravljen raskorak u zvuku za 75mm SA32 gun na AMX 40. Ispravljen efekat paljbe na nekoliko tenkova. Ispravljeni detalji na ‘Posmrtnom režimu’, post-efekti na Niskom kvalitetu grafike su sada aktivni. Ispravljena aktivacija camo-mreže i teleskoskog dvogleda pre i posle bitke. Ispravljena kolizija tenkova sa zgradama i nekim drugim objektima. Ispravljena greška popune standarne municije pri kupovini i auto-kupovini za vozila sa auto-punjačem. Ispravljen prikaz poruka za regrutovanje novih članova posade. Ispravljen neispravan prikaz sume borbi na svim vozilima i zajedničkog zbira , ako je igrač učestvovao u borbama koje se nisu završile ( na primer borbe prekinute neplaniranim održavanjem servera). Ispravljene male greške u interfejsu u prozoru sa kamuflažama. Ispravljena greška u prikazu teksta ‘poslednje borbe’ sa godinom 1970 u profilu igrača ako isti ima 0 borbi. Ispravljen opis ‘Sharpshooter’, ‘Master Gunner’, ‘Confederate’, ‘Reaper’, ‘Invader’, ‘Kamikaze’, ‘Survivor’, ‘Invincible’ medalja; Ispravljen opis Billottove Burdaine Medalje; Ispravljene greške u tekstualnim porukama za neke akcije sa opremom. Izmenjen nivo zvuka za uništenje nekih objekata. Uklonjen ponavljajući zvuk pucanja gusenica pri pregledu drugih vozila u ‘posmrtnom režimu’ Ispravljen retki problem sa netačnim prikazom( horizontalno i vertikalno pomeranje) na udaljenom vozilu. Ispravljene neke greške na algoritmu dinamičkih senki

T34 postaje tier 8, pada sa 1900 na 1550 hp.

Penetracija i dmg topa ostaju isti, ali brzina paljbe pada na 4.38 granata po minuti.

Kupola se sproije okrece, sa 36 stupnjeva/sec na 24 stupnja/sec.

Motor ima 50 KS manje, brzina ostaje ista, malo se sporije okrece, sa 28 stupnjeva/sec na 25 stupnjeva/sec.

Pogled pada sa 420 na 367 metara te radio pada sa 850 na 745 metara.

Je li netko probao test server, i kakav utjecaj imaju nove vještine na igru?

 

Ove ekonomske promjene ne zvuče na dobro:

Povećanje iskustva i kredita za niže tiere ne donosi ništa dobro za stare igrače, ali dosta pomaže novim.

Povećanjem kredita za tier 5 žele još više natjerati igrače da igraju s njim i budu topovsko meso premium igračima.

Od sada će se već na tieru 6 biti u minusu (jer će tieru 6 smanjit kredite za 5 do 6%, a tier 7 će biti dosta teže održavati, kao sada tier 8.

Smanjenje kredita za top tiere ali povećanje iskustva, ukaratko nemogućamisija za igrati bez premiuma.

Laki tenkovi:

Tier 2 (+ 82% do 95%)

izviđački tenkovi tier 2-5 (+14% do 58%)

AMX 13 75 i AMX 13 90 ( +10%)

Tier 5 (+7%, dok će neki vjerovatno PzIV biti nerfani do -12%)

Svi tier1-5 zaraduju vise(ekstra promjena),tier6-8 ima smanjenju zaradu(moze proc) dok tier 9-10 ima povecanu zaradu sto je odlicno.Jedino mi se ne svida sto ce TD zaradivat manje. I napokon tier 8 arty ce dignut zaradu pa bi moga opet kupit  GWE dok arty 6 i 7 tier ostaje isto sto je bilo i ocekivano jer su ih svi igrali radi love.

Ja taman istrazio JT, sada sto brze skupiti novih 180k xp na ferdinandu za tu beštiju. {#}

Nadam se da će ga malo uljepšati, ovo izgleda kao da je doslovno zavarena kupola na e-100. Fali im kreativnosti :)

Eh koliko će vam sada biti lakše s premiumom T34, to vam je ošteta od WG za duševne boli uzrokovane igranjem s Amerima, a meni ostaje i dalje naporno grindanje kredita s Nijemcima.

Novi njemački TD-ovi izgledaju strava, naručito Marder 3, samo da bude ko i prethodnik.

Francuski TD-ovi vuku na ruske, isti niski profil.

Nove mape mi se čine ok, kamuflaže isto samo da im spuste cijenu jer sadašnja nema smisla.

Ovo će se valjda moći mijenjati pozadina za login screen?

Ako se ne varam stug e100 je novo stablo TD koje nema veze sa ferdijem? Kad nabrijes do kraja JT zovi me za platun jagdtigera ako hoces,zadnje vrjeme tesko mi nac TD za platun.(josip666)

Ne, Stug E-100 ide preko Ferdia(slika). Platoon, javim kad ga nadogradim do kraja ali prvo trebam lovu skupiti za njega :)

Pise da ce Scoutovi od 2-5 tiera dobiti povecanje dobivanja kredita od 14%-do 58%. Lijepo izgleda.
