Verzija 1.8 odnosno adventure update iliti avanturistička nadogradnja dolazi nakon PAX-a koji traje od 26. – 28. kolovoza. Mojangovci će sudjelovati na sajmu te će tamo predstaviti prvi javni primjerak verzije 1.8. Sudionici će imati mogućnost isprobati igru i reći što im se sviđa, a što ne pošto ova verzija donosi jako puno promjena te nije lako odlučiti što je u tome dobro i zabavno, a što loše i dosadno. U tome će pomoći “testeri”.
