"Microsoft are cleverly running 2 different operations, that they both call "Denim update". First, you need to understand that the "Denim update" is an OS update (WP 8.1.1, or GDR1) and a FW update (Denim). Imagine updating your PC, the Os (windows) and the drivers (firmware). Now, given the official update availabilty table posted by Microsoft, there are 2 kind of Lumias:
a) the 620,720,820,920 (aka "older devices"). If you look carefully at what some variants have received, they got : latest known GDR1 (=the one enabling Cortana in Europe), but they got, firmware-wise, only a cyan update. The version numbers are clearly the same, just a minor Cyan update.
b) In Nordic countries : 930/1520 are getting both an OS update (to latest GDR1) and a proper FW udpate (with a real change in version numbers). Back to your question.
It's easier to send the first kind of update, which MS calls "Denim" when it's not a *firmware* update but rather an *os* update. And when you think about it, they already did that before : the 930 received GDR1 (in Europe at least) weeks ago. Official GDR1 (latest version of that time), with a small Cyan update. Nobody called that "Denim update", but now, MS are calling it Denim.
To be more precise, they call it Denim when you have at least 8.10.14219.341 (OS) (or if you have a original Denim firmware, like 830).
In other words, there is more work for the 1520/930, as MS have to build a dedicated firmware, include the real novelties (unlike for the "a)" category above), etc. But the good news is : it has rolled out today in Nordic Countries. I only hope that, for the 920/1020 etc., which need less Denim (the OS update will represent 90% of the new features), we'll still have a true FW update later (as I said, so far, it's still Cyan in that MS table).
Because even if we don't expect anaything camera-wise, we need a new fw to bring other new features such as, at least, aptx BT codec support. I hope it's more clear."
Dakle ukratko,kolega "Teerex je bio u pravu, i svi mi na PfD programu, "denim" imamo od predzadnjeg ažuriranja... Ono za što smo mislili da je "bug" kod prikaza u "extras + info", ustvari je bilo novo tumačenje "denim" nadogradnje od strane MS-a... Dakle svi vlasnici niže rangiranih uređaja(ispod L830) neće dobit "denim" nadogradnju u obliku firmwarea, pa samim time ni nikakve điđe za kameru, već samo u obliku OS nadogradnje, a oni koji su na PfD-u, neće dobit ništa jer već imaju zadnju verziju OS-a,ili ti kako MS tumači, imaju "denim"...
I ponuđeno mi je u postavkama samo "Vibracija - uključena/isključena ". Kad isključim vibru lijepo imam prekriženo zvonce gore lijevo na ekranu i zvono baj baj... Kako da to riješim?
