Process Lasso is an interesting tool for speeding up your computer. By prioritizing its processes, this program helps improve an operating system's performance.
The program's interface is both helpful-looking, with a clean design and simple charts, and discouraging, with some highly technical command options. We were constantly spending time with and revisiting the program's Help file for instructions. The program's display clearly showcased all currently running processes and provided a suspected CPU usage chart
- MyLanViewer is a network scanner, file searcher, and IP monitor. It displays your network computers an easy to read, buddy-list style window that provides the machine names, MAC addresses, shared resources and other technical details for each computer
- The user interface is very easy to understand. All of your system's process and memory space is laid out for you. A task menu resides on the left side of the window, but we also noticed that the same task commands reside underneath the RAM pie graph. On our first go-around, we used the program's Memory Benchmark test to check our computer's performance. A score of 0 to 10 is used, and the higher the score, supposedly the faster the memory
- Purge allows you to reclaim drive space quickly, by getting rid of space-wasting "garbage". Purge can remove *.bak,*.tmp files and zero-byte files. It can delete defective links, empty the tmp. directory and erase old browser-cache files. There is a variety of security options: it will give you a prompt so you can choose which files to delete; it can store all marked files in a special backup directory before deleting them.
