Educational/Skill Requirement:

as Tuxedo with TCP/IP), and experience using
OOA/OOD design methodologies.
Oracle OODBMS skills, Data Warehousing, OLAP,
Data Marts, object Repositories, (CardoNet,
Cohera, Corba MOF), etc.
Strong data modeling, Database Normalization, ER
diagrams and database. Component design
experience using OOD methodology (UML preferred)
working knowledge of XML, XML Schemas, JMS, RMI
and SOAP. Use of object-relational mapping tools
such as TopLink with Oracle 8. Demonstrated
background in system architecture, application
architecture, capacity planning, deployment and
unit/system testing under various loading
conditions.
Ability to lead large-scale and / or multiple
full life-cycle projects simultaneously. Result
oriented, works well under serious pressure, able
to deliver efficiently within time & budget
constraints. Experience leading application
development and architecture design teams.
Excellent Project Management skills under tight
deadlines, Integration Technology Enhancement &
highly customizable applications projects. User
requirements gathering/analysis is required.
Experience conducting large, diversified JAD
sessions is a plus. Experience designing and
implementing component-based distributed systems.
3+ yrs experience in a technical lead role in
server-side software development. Server-side
Java experience, specifically using the EJB
component model for both session & entity beans
and J2EE services.
2+ yrs experience using BEA WebLogic as a J2EE
container on Solaris.
Ability to design Wrapper Classes for EJBs for
JMS queues.
Ability to elicit and analyze functional
requirements.
Ability to write clear & concise specs &
documentation.
Ability to work directly with the CTO for the
creation of development & design policies,
standards & procedures.
Ability to read various e-commerce & legacy
systems code.
Ability to conduct walk-through and design
sessions with users, identify design
specification deviations and scope changes and
assess and communicating impact.
Ability to effectively collaborate with internal
and external (3rd party) organizations is a
critical attribute of the candidate.
A broad range of knowledge regarding internet
technologies, including (but not necessarily
limited to) publishing tools, e-commerce engines,
profiling and personalization systems and
chat/message board applications.
Minimum 3 years of pure Java development
experience and 1-2 years of C++, VB & DCOM.
Two year experience with J2EE technology in
architecture and design (certifications in J2EE
Architecture preferred).
2-3 years experience with BEA Weblogic 5.1/6.0 &
1 year in Webobjects
B.S. or B.A. in Information Systems, computer
science or Engineering (MasterŐs preferred).

Duties and Responsibilities: Design and implement
a middle-tier component architecture for an
enterprise-class web application. Apply
distributed component design techniques to create
scalable EJB components, embed them in a J2EE
application server, and expose them to a JSP
presentation layer and through an interface
(possibly SOAP, JMS queues or MQseries, Tibco
Rendezvous 5 or MSMQ). Integrate with middle-tier
services and back-end resources using JMS, JDBC,
or other protocols. Make critical design
decisions important to the project's success.
