Uz ostale značajke, ističe se čak 7 godina nadogradnji, no pitanje je kako korisnike u današnje vrijeme zadržati tako dugo kod jednog modela.
At the front, the handset is said to feature a large 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a high 165Hz refresh rate. So far, only the OnePlus 15 series offers a 165Hz display in India. Peak brightness is claimed to touch 6,200 nits, along with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ certifications, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Powering the device will be Qualcomm’s new performance-heavy Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. This positions the Motorola Signature directly against the latest smartphones like the OnePlus 15R. The handset is also said to pack a 5,200mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and both wired and wireless reverse charging support. In a move many Indian buyers will appreciate, the charger is reportedly included in the box. The battery capacity might seem underwhelming as most new phones offer upwards of 7,000mAh.
Camera hardware is another area where the Motorola Signature could stand out. The setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-500r front camera, a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus, and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom on the back. Video capabilities extend to 8K Dolby Vision at 30fps and 4K Dolby Vision at up to 60fps.
Perhaps the most important strategic shift is software. The Motorola Signature will reportedly ship with Android 16 and become the company’s first phone to receive a commitment of seven years of OS updates and security patches. This is a major change for Motorola, whose update policies have traditionally lagged behind rivals like Samsung and Google.
The Motorola Signature smartphone is tipped to feature an aluminium frame, MIL-STD-810 certification, IP68/69 dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, measuring 7mm thick and weighing about 186 grams. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, USB-C, and eSIM support. The smartphone’s renders had also leaked with a stylus, which has so far been exclusive to one series.
Based on the leaked specifications, the Motorola Signature is shaping up to be a premium value-for-money smartphone with reliable hardware. If Motorola manages to price this aggressively, it could appeal strongly to users who want top-tier performance, excellent cameras, premium design, and a long software life without paying exorbitant prices. The Motorola Signature is definitely worth waiting for, especially if you’ve been eyeing a flagship-level smartphone.
